I'm Chad Fowers — a mortgage loan originator with Fidelity First Funding, based in Pleasant View, Utah. But before I was in lending, I spent nearly a decade inside the real estate industry from a different angle.
I started my career at Fidelity Investments as a stock trader and relationship associate, where I learned how to analyze numbers and communicate financial information clearly to real people. In 2017, I got my real estate license and began working as an agent — while also buying, renovating, and selling investment properties here in Utah. I've been the buyer writing the offer. I've been the seller watching deals fall apart over financing. I understand what's at stake on both sides.
In late 2025, I made a deliberate decision to get my mortgage license and move into lending — because I believe the financing conversation is where most buyers need the most help, and where the right guidance makes the biggest difference. I'm not here to push paperwork through. I'm here to help you understand your options before you feel pressured to act.
You don't need to have everything figured out before reaching out. That's exactly what the game plan is for.
Share your goals, timeline, income picture, and what you're hoping to accomplish. No documents required at this stage.
We'll walk through estimated payment ranges, down payment options, and possible loan paths so you understand what may fit your situation.
When you're ready, you'll know what steps to take next and how to prepare for a stronger pre-approval. No pressure before you're ready.
Real estate agents need more than a pre-approval letter. They need communication, strategy, and a loan officer who helps protect the transaction from start to finish.
I'm not looking to work with every agent. I'm looking to build deeper partnerships with agents who care about the client experience.
